Week 27 Weigh in

Stayed the same this week.
Success, if you ask me.
It's been a stressful week and I'm just glad it's almost over!

My big guy got some promising news for his migraines. We got some meds to try if/when he has another massive migraine. That eased my mind!   My little guy's surgery went well. He is a trooper!  He was playing like is normal self by the end of the day yesterday. Would never have known he had just had surgery just 8 hours prior.

As far as I go, I am starting to get really bored and not to mention frustrated with my workouts. I can't do upper body with this stupid arm injury. As far as cardio goes, I can only do the bike. Do you know how boring that gets? I'm going to speak with my physical therapist about other options. And please don't bring up swimming. The gym I go to has a pool but the place is nasty. No way on Earth that I am swimming in there!

Don't mean to sound like Debbie-Downer. Honestly, I don't. Things are going really well all-in-all. I'm just coming off of a stressful week.

  1. Hi Jenn! Well, my post today was a downer too. So I guess it happens to the best of us. Staying the same during a stressful week *is* a success. And arm injuries really suck. But I think you are being positive underneath is all. Chins up to both of us!

  2. Keep at it Jenn. Even if the bike is the only thing you can do, cardio is important -- and at least it's one way to work off some of the stress that you've been under. It sounds like it's been really tough, but you deserve to look after yourself too.
