Wednesday Weigh In

A good week! Down another 2.3 pounds making a total of 3.6.

I can't bring myself to call the gym for membership and personal trainer pricing. Every time I think about it, I well up in tears. It brings me back to the day I was at the one gym with people gathering to watch me. So, I decided to get me some new sneaks - desperatly needed! and I also bought Jillian's 30 day shred video along with a medicine ball. Just to keep things fresh.

Keep things fresh? Well darn! I haven't even done a thing yet. I have all the excuses in the world too. Mainly that it's just too darn hot out to even think about working out!

That brings me to my goals for the week:

Continue with meal planning
Say "NO" to artificial sweetners
And lastly, exercise at least 3 days this week.

  1. If the thought of calling the gym ends with you in tears, it's too big a step to try at once, so try this. Today, excercise for 1 minute. That's it, no more, no less. 1 minute. Do it before dinner, before you take a shower, whenever, but don't do more than the 1 minute. TOmorrow, do the same, 1 minute. Keep doing this for 3 weeks, then increase it to 2 minutes. Do that for 3 weeks, then go to 5 minutes. By that time, calling the gym shouldn't end in tears, if it does, go back to the 5 minutes for another couple of weeks, then increase it to 10 minutes. I might sound like a loony saying this, but this method works, I'll show you the book the next time I see you :)
